The purpose of this website is to provide information for parents and students.

Parents will find information on units of study and current classroom happenings.
Students can use this fun, safe online environment to connect with one another outside of the classroom. It is also a place to communicate with the teacher outside of the classroom. To do this, students will mainly use the Brain Power! link in the sidebar. But, of course, feel free to comment on any of the information on this website!

In this box, you will find quick and important updates about this website and the classroom.
Students are currently working on publishing a classroom magazine! I'm very excited with some of the topics they chose for their articles. We're using our new EET writing model to make sure students include a lot of details! Stay tuned to "Classroom Happenings" to find out what we're up to!
Yesterday (Feb. 12th) we learned a new vocabulary work. The word is "slogan". We talked about some of the slogans we hear on T.V. and decided our classroom needed a slogan! So, each student wrote their idea on an index card and we voted. J.B.'s slogan won! Here it is: "Learn something new everyday. Guaranteed!" We are going to make sign with our slogan so that we can hang it by our classroom door!

A.F., the first day of school video is under "Classroom Happenings". There is a blue link that says, "Our First Day of School"
